Warn them that you'll name and shame them in front of thousands of potential customers unless you recieve said items.

This happened to me once so i payed them a visit, amazingly they'd just got them in!, basically they were getting wheels in all the time but selling them to customers going into the shop and telling me they still hadn't had them.
I got better tyres out of them for my troubles

I'd suggest you go for some compensation in the form of something free

1. Speak to the manager and confirm the conversation in writing.
2. If you paid by credit card, contact them and see what your options are.
3. Write to the manager, and give him 2 weeks to send the wheels or refund the money or else you will contact trading standards.
4. If that does'nt work, contact trading standards and inform the dealer that you have done so.
5. Write to the dealer and demand a refund/delivery within 2 weeks or you will instigate legal proceedings via the small claims court.

I would be surprised if you needed to go beyond step one, as most companies are reasonable if you treat them with respect and firm politness. Always give them a time frame to respond in, and don't wait for them to call back. Say I will call back in 7 days at this time(then call in 7 days at an hour before the time you said. That way they can't do a runner as the clock reaches the time you said

First of all I would not pay a lot in advance. Secondly the same, and thirdly I would be on the phone every day. If it finally turns out that you have been set up I would go to the police.

You need to be VERY careful with 'name and shame' if done wrong then they can sue you (and SN unless the thread is vaped, which it will be).

ALWAYS state things in a dispasionate factual way. No name calling, accusations or anything that cannot be proven in a court of law

The problem is - Cyprus is a bit far from the Citizens' Advice Bureau

But I've just re-read the profile and see he's in the UK!

Demand my money back today.
Taking the pi** would be my discription.
No way it takes 3 months to supply you these goods regardless of your location. I have exported to Greece/Islands etc, 3 days max by air 5-6 days express road (inc ferrys).
My best advice is organise your own carriage via TNT or UPS and get a mate to buy and collect the goods here and then ship them from UK, it really is simple and the carriers will help you with any paperwork required only real advise is Take out the some Transit insurance, the standard Insurance offered on transit goods is a joke .
