I wonder if you guys can help me.......
I am currently engaged in communications with my Subaru dealer....I bought a my97 turbo them 10 months ago. When I bought it, it had piston slap, they changed number 4 piston as a good will gesture by Subaru themselves as it was and still is low mileage (40k). Now 10 months later it is back but Subaru will not fix it because I have a Subaru extended warranty. The warranty company will not do anything because its not a failure....

The dealer thinks the outcome will be no-one will do anything. Has anybody been in this situation before ? Surely if Subaru didn't fix it originally there work must be covered by some sort of guarantee.
