blimey! I've just taken the test and passed with 30 out of 35, which is really goodas my driving skill leaves a *lot* to be desired, but then I've been driving for *only* seven years.

Eeek - just scraped a pass with 30/35
.
Luckily I got the important ones right
.
Some of the alternatives in the multiple guess are quite scarey - I sincerely hope no-one could possibly have chosen them!.
Rgds,
Alex
P.S. Can someone explain why the standard stopping distances are fixed at what they are? I think most people would agree that even a scoob would out-brake an astra with 155 section tyres for example.

33 of 35 not to bad, i was a bit to cautious
on braking distance, only out by 3 metres though. 23 years since taking the test i think us oldies arn't to bad.
i don't think they were using a impreza for
the braking test!!

I'm very ashamed
to admit that I only got 28. FAILURE!!!
Are the questions different each time - I didn't get any questions about the horn (ooerr) or the stopping distances.
I failed on the round blue sign with 30 on it (can't remember ever seeing a blue sign on my travels!) Also on increasing the tyre pressures for long term fast motorway driving.

Scored 30
Annoyed I got 2 questions about having small children in the car - I've never had a small child in my car!
Can't believe I got the colour of the road studs between motorway and sliproad wrong!
D'oh!

Just had an American friend of mine try the test(got 22). He questioned why have stopping distances in meters if you are using MPH as a speed measurement. "60 miles per hour stops you in a given number of meters?" ![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/confused.gif)
How about our non UK members give it a shot
or point us to a foriegn equivilent?

Hmmmmm 28 points.
The questions must be different each time as I didn't get one regarding stopping distances. It stated at the end of the quiz that my questions were amongst the hardest ever given out on the survey.
No...it did.
Really.........

Definitly a good link!
Just scraped through with 30 - but I had a question about the arm signal for slowing down....who uses arm signals these days? And which other drivers/pedestrians would have a clue what you were doing?
