On Saturday I was shown the UK depot for ALL inbound UK Subaru's. Basically everyone who has a UK spec car, your car has been through here. It really was a sight, seeing row upon row of gleaming blue / gold STi8's ready for degreasing / shipping to the dealers. Unfortunately didn't have a camera on me, but I dont think the guards would be too happy anyway

Is that really where the depot is??? I thought it would have been nearer to a port?

 

All cars used to come in to bristol port so it was not far away,Now all scoobs come in to newcastle and transported tp quedgley

so Edcase, did you see mine? Its WR Blue so would have been easy to spot

 

Maybe that explains why I keep seeing convoys of two or three car transporters heading down the M5 past Worcester towards Gloucester loaded with "just off the boat" looking Scoobs. Often wondered where they were heading.

Wow! Quedgely - knew it well, albeit many years ago. Used to have a computer show meet there twice a year, in a little hall near a big Tesco's/whatever. Pity that was before I even knew what a Scooby was (thinking about it, Subaru's had probably only just come on the market or not even then when I was going).
