In another thread it was mentioned that the STi8 would be receiving a suspension mod in April.

I have an STi8 currently on order, due to arrive in June.

Is this mod likely to be on the car or does it apply order taken after April and what is the mod.

Yes - raised on my thread re WRX PPP vs STi8.

I've just spoken to Arthur Fairley at IM (thanks to the WRX PPP thread for the number ) and his response is that there are NO suspension mods to the STi8 due.

He couldn't confirm whether Prodrive had any plans to offer modifications however.

I've heard that it is Prodrive that will be bringing out the mod. This is consistent though with usual Prodrive policy.

 

By 'mod' do you mean a set of springs?
These have been planned for some time..MY01 STIs onwards should soon be available.

I sent an email to Mike Wood about it the other week... basically they have been busy with the PPP kit, and havent yet got going fully on the suspension - couldnt give me an accurate date as to when something will be available.

Yes Hugh... if you go here you will notice that the prodrive STi suspension system is still under development.
