Nice one John !
Aye, please send me the flyer (to my work address).
Surprising how quickly the 2002 attendees are queuing up on this post
Now stand by for the "how much ? - I could go on a three week luxury Caribbean cruise for that" nonsense.

... buggar missed that money making scheme....
I wonder why?
Seriously though, will be good to see the Scoobs over again.
I missed most of it last year, AND got pulled in Ramsey for having 'stick on' front plates......Sheesh!

Just to add that we now have some reserved parking for our cars at the Hilton. The 30 spaces nearest to the front door will be reserved for our exclusive use during the event

We've just received the initial information regarding the event being held this year between the 18th and 22nd September.
Staying in the newly refurbished Hilton (been closed for some time for a total re-furb) there's a different set of events this year.
The event is going under the name of the Manx Classic Cavalcade, and will be open to a number of different car clubs, all attending the same weekend
They've built on the very successful formula they have developed with car clubs over the past few years, to come up with an excellent selection of events and activities.
The highlight of course, is a run up the Mountain Section of the TT course, which is closed to the public This really is something you have to do at least once in your life!
The event is being aimed at those with an appreciation of the "finer" things in life, so if lots of good food and wine, nice hotels, lots of social activities, lunches etc., then this is the event for you.
The cost is only £365 per person (a bit more than our event last year, which everyone thought was fantastic value for money), which includes return ferry/sea-cat travel, all hotel accomodation, most meals, welcome reception, TT course, theatre evening, Druidale Trail, buffet dinner (with celebrity entertainment), gala dinner etc.
There's even a jamboree for all car clubs, with each club getting their own "display area", and prizes for the best car(s) etc.
Of course, there's also scope within the 5 days, for clubs to organise their own additional events, or just leave them free for people to explore the island on their own.
The event is being run by FAD Promotions, who did an absolutely fantastic job of running our event last year.
I have a 350Kb attachment giving more details of the event, which I'm happy to e-mail to anyone that requests it.
Alternatively, you can call FAD promotions on 01624 614806, and they'll be glad to assist you.
