I'd like to hear from some MY01/02 owners about their various brake upgrades. Currently heading for TSL's 6 pot Hi-spec kit, but would I be just as well getting some decent disks and pads for the standard 4 pots and saving some money?
I do some HARD b-road driving and my first track outing will be at Japfest.

I'm also scoping for brakes. Settleing on the TSL 6-pots at the moment as I've heard good things, and they seem like excellent value. Just wonder if they are over the top for my drivig and I'd be better off with replacment disks/pads. Waiting for reply from TSL to various questions.

I went for the Pagid GpN kit and can't fault it. I do plenty of trackdays but IMO you don't need to spend £1K+ to get a decent brake set up, for road driving it's just overkill.

Hi-Spec had an issue with retaining bolts shearing on their two piece discs a while back which doesnt inspire confidence. I also believe there are questions relating to the rigidity of the caliper.
Go for AP six pots excellent and miles better than the four pot set up which although stops really well in my experience lacked initial bite and feel. The discs still warped eventually though.
These are my experiences with different brake setups on a variety of cars. You get what you pay for.
