Took my scooby to my local garage "Pau Subaru- Lons" here in the France. The hourly labour charge was...................wait for it 37€ an hour or about £25 per hour at a main dealer. They were also excellent mechanics carrying out a full rear brake disk/pads replacement and a 75K service (plugs,oil/filter, air filter etc)in 2.5 hrs. I don't have much experience of Subaru in the UK so I'm not sure how it would have cost for the brakes/service but I bet there arent many scooby garages charging £25 per hour for labour in the UK.
If anyone ever needs a service and are in the Aquitaine region of France these guys are red hot. They also had some interesting Paris-Dakar stories to tell!
