Just wondering how much performance i'm losing by having a large dual 12" subwoofer box in my boot. My car seems to be tail happy which for a UK turbo is wrong since they're supposed to understeer!

I cant help thinking that i'm losing handling and acceleration having such a lump in the boot, anyone had similar problems/experiences?

I'm going to take the thing out this weekend when I go to Santa Pod and see what I run without it and also take it to work and weigh it on those big avery scales we have

Dont mind me, i'm in one of those "why don't I blow those pesky hot hatches away yet!" moods, but after a decat and tek2 i'm very worried about the performance of my car and or the debt these 17yr olds are in!

hmm tail happy moments can be c/o a number of reasons thou so woodnt think it's big sub related as i've got a pair of 12" JL jobbies + a pretty hefty box but currently on 18" wheels+toyos & uprated drop link thingamies feels sweet as a nut. Only back end activity was in the distant past running standard 15" things with carp rubber in wet round a nice fast roundabout! This "incident" in the wet ensured my new found common sense that high performance dont like shyte rubber so that'd b my 1st suspicion m8 but as i say kud b any number of things..........
