Hi people

Have UK dealers got any flexibility on their published price for a new MY03 scooby.

How are they persuading people to not buy an import ?

Who's got the best deal ??
Where and what did you pay for your new MY03 ??

And finally .... how long did you have to wait ??

still in a two minds as whether to go abroad or stay UK ... advice needed desperately

Cheers

Ajay

I took delivery of my UK Dealership, UK WRX MY03 on the 1st March @ £ 19071.45 including Met paint, Delivery & VAT. I waited 3 weeks.

Not a bad price me thinks, anybody looking for similar deal, I'll put you in touch...

I should have mentioned, I could have taken delivery sooner, but as the 1st March was around the corner.... I waited. Though, I have to say it was tough!

Oh yes, thanks for reminding me DBY, I also got WRX mats and a FOC tank of fuel (not the cheap stuff - made sure of that) within the price.

Talking

PJA,

It's through the Inchcape Group (spelling?), I think they're the largest dealer network in the UK. I went through EVO/Autocar mag website, looked at the reviews on the new WRX, which gave pricing in the menu panel on the left had side. I clicked on that and it took me to the www.autobytel.co.uk website (they're part of the Inchcape Group) who were offering the MY03 WRX @ £19,545.00 OTR. They then got their dealer to talk with me from Listers Fleet Management, that's where I executed my deal down to around 19K and eventually picked my car upfrom Listers of Coventry. Phew, long winded I know!

If you'd like I can put you in touch with the people to talk with direct, perhaps that way you can get a better deal done?
