I was at my local dealer last Thursday having my MY03 1000 mile service done and in the bay next to mine was a P reg Impreza Turbo 5 door being serviced. It was a pretty tatty example but the mechanic working on mine (who's been with the dealer for 8 years) said the car had been regularly serviced by them it's entire life, without any major repairs or parts (just the usual)... wait for it "IT HAD DONE 178,000 MILES! Started 1st time as it came off the ramp!

Question. Any other similar stories out there that you know of?

What sort of High mileage has yours done...

What sort of major parts have you had to replace (if any) etc??

STi 3 on a P plate currently have about 92K miles on the clock, runs like a dream

 

Bloody hell - that means he (or she) must have paid for 2 x 90,000 mile services in a relatively short time!

 

95 k and still going strong. No problems at all.

It still managed to pull a 4.8 to 60 at a magazine shoot out day a few thousand miles back. Also regular runs in the mid 13's still.

One very happy MY 97 scoob owner.

The Legacy Im thinking about buying has 102k on the clock but has been looked after well and has just had a timing belt change and an oil change. It starts 100% and goes like a dream. We proved that the other night by sitting with a WRX.

 

My 1988 Escort has 212,000 miles. Someday a tree will fall on it; until then, it wil probably keep running.

 

MY99 with 87k and no major parts apart from:

1 engine
1 gearbox
1 wheel bearing
3 clutches

etc etc
