Just wondering. Im very seriously considering buying a 92 Legacy Turbo in the next week or two. It has a WRX interior and STI5/6 gearbox.

Is there anything I should look out for?

Usual Impreza stuff....brakes, clutch, box.
Only problem the Legacy has over an impreza is noisy tappets. Usually more an annoyance than anything, but if bad enough, can cause problems.
Otherwise, and excellent performance car bargain.

This one has had a new clutch fitted and has an STI 5 or 6 gearbox.

We did notice one of the tappets was a little noisy at times but it only happens the odd time.

Be careful of this car if I were you, sounds to me that the previous owner was maybe a rally driver, if it's got high mileage then you'd be best getting a qualified company such as the AA to check it out and make sure all the bits are fitted correctly !

If it's had the box replaced with an STI 5/6 it will need to have had the rear diff changed too due to the different final drive ratio. Car will accelerate quicker but lack usual top end...
