When I was looking for my impreza alot of cars seemed to have high miles for there age (70-80K on cars that were 4 yrs old or 100K plus on cars 7-8 yrs old).......NOW I KNOW WHY!!! ![](http://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk/smilie/silly.gif)
I find it impossible not to drive the scoob, as it is just the most fantastic ...erm 'ride' ever (for a car that is!!)![](http://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk/smilie/thumbs.gif)
Since I bought mine a 1995 WRX (imported Feb 02) with 50K on the clock in January (bought from scoobyscene, aka mellow, aka Chris!!) I have covered over 5000 miles and at a rough estimate 700 pounds worth of Shells finest!!!![](http://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk/smilie/jump_clap.gif)
Who else has covered big miles in a short space of time?
Cheers
Al

On the imports the mileage on the clock is not a true representation of the MILEAGE, but a mishmash of Km.s and miles.
Some imports (like my last one) will come into the country with say 72,000kms on the clock. From then its in miles. So, my previous car showed 96K, but had only done 67K miles

How about 17,500 miles since Nov 1st 2002 (the 20k service is booked for early next month!) in my WRX - that's just 5 months.
Oh, have done about 2,500 in the other half's Sport in that time too :-)

My old company car MY00 Mica Red is going to the auctions this week with 80k on the clock. It arrived Jan 23rd 2001 and never missed a beat. I drove it hard in all fairness ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I really don't think the mileage matters IMHO. I bought my RB5 with 21k last April, now on 36k and still going strong. Altenator packed up today, but that consumables as far as cars are concerned![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Yeah got 80 k on it now!! I gave it back at around 40k, so he has done a few miles. He got a tow bar fitted for towing his horse box ![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
I don't know what it'll go for, but following the roundabout incident I would buy it
It cost £6 k to get back on the road ![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
