A huge thanks to Salsa-King for the Scooby Ball last night
I think a good time was had by all. We do have some pics but I'm too tired to upload them now - I need to go back to bed
Salsa - we want a full write up of your ProdriveLive Day in the next issue of True Grip. Hope you enjoy it!
By the way - when's the next one
Nice to meet you all and put some faces to ScoobyNet names

No.. Thank you all.
Su.. I'll do Prodrive-Live write up if you do the TrueGrip write up?!! Deal?? i'll also put a few words together too for TrueGrip as well.
Thank you so much for the Prodrive Live Gift and also for paying the hotel room and meal too... there was no need.
Amanda and I too are still worn out.. having a long drive back from the hotel didn't help...all of 10mins
Pix will follow very soon.

And not forgetting Andy (Fast Mover) I'm sure Rich and I speak for everyone that was at the ball that you come home safe and sound. Our thoughts are with you and your colleagues.

Excuse me for being my usual cynical self but..............
A whole night talking about how good your Subaru is and how nice those wheels are
Didnt you all feel a little embarassed saying that you were at a ball because you all have a Subaru???
I think I would. Come on guys there is another life out there !!

Big thanks to Phil for all the effort he put to make this a wonderfull weekend
I met loads of folks I've chatted to for ages & I'm glad to know all the muppets are even more fun in real life
I'm glad I got persuaded into going now, and it was well worth stopping the Friady night too (even if nobody recognised for ages that there were two groups of us in the bar)
Of to bed soon for some much needed sleep!
<piccies in the gallary as above link>

Come on guys there is another life out there !!
It was a couples event so car talk was very limited. Just a chance to put some names to faces, catch up with some old friends, have a nice meal and a great night out. Some of us don't even have a scoobs anymore
Suppose I could have chosen that other life Saturday night

Lee I went out with my wife and a friend and his his wife. Had a lovely meal at a packed Pizza Express in Bedford.
Good conversation all night with no Subaru talk.
He has an R34 and no mention of that.
Plenty of Nastro Azzuro and two bottles of Chianti.
His wife drove home as she is expecting.
Another bottle of red back at my gaff and some more talk about LIFE
Then a quick 5hag so as not to wake the kids and sleep.
There you go!!!!!
Pretty good Saturday night I reckon.
Oh and didnt miss Ant & Dec before we went out either

Agreed, it was a great night, (despite the hotel being kept at around 3000 degrees C all weekend!).
Thanks Phil and Amanda.
Best wishes to Andy. Stay safe.

Just seen the pictures thread and am disappointed to see photos of me in there, despite explicit requests not to have photos of me on this BBS.
CharlieWhiskey - you know how I feel about photos....
Salsa-King - I requested at the ball that no photos of me are to go on the board.
Have reported the thread to the moderators as I would like those photos deleted and or edited to remove me completely.

Anita.. that was last night!!! this is now!! and my pic of you was very nice.. don't put your self down.
or we'll send them to the 'muppet forum'
Andy Timms....(just to fill ppl in).
Andy had some very bad news while attending the Scooby Ball last night, that his best friend had been killed in the Iraq war. To top it off he had then had orders to be flown out there to 'take his place'... Andy had to leave early sunday morning.. so I/We didn't get to say our last Scooby Ball good-bye.
BUT... we had a top night with him and he didn't let the sad news spoil his fun, Andy came to the Ball not knwing ANYONE!! but left knowing just about all of us!!...We got some cool Laydeee pix to Email him too, Amanda helped in that department along with Angela, Shelley, Louise and even Ame..(for moral in the Gulf ) So our thoughts go out to him as i type now and wish him all the best under the circumstances. Maybe Chris can give us some better info on Andy's situation.

Arran - if you weren't interested in coming to the ball, don't make snide comments about people who did. You have no idea about what was discussed either although the only time cars were really mentioned was when Jeremy and Su pressented Phil with a Prodrive day as a gift from everyone for putting in such a HUGE effort in organising it.
