Has anyone who hasn't had ppp on there STI or wrx had only the cat rplacement pipe changed by there dealer so that warranty isn't affected ?
If so can you give any comments as to performance and exhaust note.Also did it affect insurance or didn't you tell em/

Yes
No affect to warranty as Subaru UK know that virtually everyone changes the exhaust and that PPP changes the standard exhaust anyway.
Centre Decat, Resonator and BB.
Can't give you any answers on performance as the (sub)standard sections had been removed before pick up and I am still running
in, but in previous experinence (RB5 & UK300), a significant difference was achieved.
PS On exhaust note you will notice little difference changing just the centre cat. You need to change the Back Box to get any real difference in sound.
The sound will change dependent on BB selected.
Prodrive exhaust sounds OK but is quite. Firestorm or Scooby sport much louder
