was told on friday from my local dealer (who has been excellent) that my STI8 had arrived and was sitting in the forcourt!

- so could i get insurance cover note and finance sorted for mon to pick car up wed!

not what you call loads of notice.....

looks like friday before collection now and i am workin sat .

Surely they knew it was on its way and could have warned me to sort out all my stuff!

To top it off i have been driving an isusu trooper for 3 weeks as they are having probs with my my97 still! (i think they are scared of me removing more bits to put in the for sale forum b4 theyt get it back for the p/x )

They possibly didn't know an exact delivery date, I know with the 02 type UK and P1 they required special transporters as the front valance was so low. My Type UK sat at the docks for over a week waiting on a suitable transporter.
Like lots of businesses your Dealer relys on Info fed to them, from IM and the accuracy of the depends then on a third party.
The wait to get mine was a real killer, but a week will fly in.
