Harness Fixing Points
#2
Andy,
This is for a 4 point harness....not too sure about the six.
Ideally you should fix the front points to the existing safety belt bolts and the rear ones to a roll cage, but also you can fix them to the rear seat belts points instead. Awkward to fit though, and a pain for the rear passengers!
Don't whatever you do fix the rear belts down over the seat to the existing front seat belt bolts...this will not work and is dangerous! In this case the force of your body in an accident will place all of your weight on the seat bolts which will break in a heavy accident.
IMHO of course. It's always best to get the thing checked and fitted by a professional.
Gethin.

Firstly, Gethin is dead right. Do not fix the rear harness bolts to the front. That will probably kill you in a smash.
I have 3 point Sabelts in mine (mainly for trackdays - I am not that good and it gives an extra sense of security, plus you feel what the cars is doing much quicker when your *** is nailed to the seat - so to speak).
These are affixed to the front belt bolts (for the lap belts - one goes each side) and to the middle rear belt bolts. I picked the Sabelt 3 points as they can be unclipped using a buckle to allow rear seat passengers a comfy ride.
E-mail me if you need any further info.
Hope this is of help.
