Going to Elvington tomorrow for the RWYB event. Going to give the car a chance to see what it and I can do.
1st time ever at a "track/drag" day, so have absolutely no clue as to how i will do.
Hope to get a reasonable quarter and a reasonable top speed, then i will be happy
Wish me luck
Steven

looks like 4K is about the right launch rpms, probably around max torque point. Some good consistent time there, not surpriesd the clutch has gone after 11 runs .

Think i could have done better (i know, easy to say) had i not killed the clutch. Most were top speed runs, although i did not get speeds for all.
I think the height of the car played a factor in the speed too. Could not adjust the coilovers to lower it. They have seized.
Will post pics tomorrow when turbosport is working.

Good time Steve.
So you got 12.9 with 340 plus and Harvey got 12.5 with IIRC 477!
So the question is how much power do you need to be really fast? Or is Harvey taking it easy?

Baby seat in the back and a dog guard! ROTFLMAO! Brilliant! That must *really* have rubbed it in for the slower brigade
Would have loved to have been there, but I would have been killed using a slow and painful method. Both sets of parents, plus brother in law and sister in law in law, and sister in law in law's Mum were visiting, and I was barbecuing.
Sounds like you had the better day

Great laugh Nick. You should have been there!
I think my 4th run was the funniest for on lookers. Harvey thought i had possibly done something to the engine, but it was the clutch.
You should have seen David's face when Emma said to me " well if you clutch is dying, you might as well kill it"
I tried to kill it properly, but i could not launch properly, and had to get home.
I had baby seat, dog guard, baby supplies (tom was spectating), spanners and screwdrivers in the boot.
Much fun.

Funniest moment, Tom tried on my bike helmet, and instantly had everyone laughing, due to his head constantly banging the floor, whilst his feet were also touching the floor
Lunch sounds good

Who's was the silver scoob with the black windows? Ive got 6 more of those AVI's at home, one of the silver/blak scoob v the red wagon (not yours, the OTHER red one) and a few others of some of what must have been the TTS lot, including the silver one with the lexus clusters, eating the white Evo (or so it appeared)
I'll link to them if anyone is interested.
