Does that help?

Cheers,

Put it this way... it delivers all the promise that the bugeye version should have done and more. Refined but with nearer the grunt of the classic.

PS. a good investment without spoiling the lines of the car is the P1 Stone Deflectors (front mud flaps), they're tiny and are made of 3mm tough plastic in black. They don't hang down further than the sills and hang vertically down from the upper anchor point without following the curvature of the body. This protects against the usual road spray but more impotantly stone chips alone the side of the car. They cost £20.00 inc VAT (for the pair, but are ordered in singles so make sure you order x2) and the Subaru part no is SACC 2145.

Have fun... I'm sure you will. 1pm Sat will be a special moment for you, but make sure you take time to really look at the body work in flat light. Mine made it through the PDI with 2 very shallow dents in it almost invisable, but there all the same.

Enjoy!

My MY03 WRX has given me a permanent smile since I picked it up on the 1st.

Watch out for those pesky stonechips though - I've got 3 minor ones already :-(

This is so Frustrating I order my my03 wrx On October the 26th from Belgium and it arrived at the dealer yesterday so I have nearly 2 weeks to wait.

Time seems to go past slower and slower. on the plus side I have saved enough money to do the stereo upgrade and the pimp tints as soon as it is delivered.

Im just hoping it is a sgood as everyone makes out or I will be gutted.

Thumbs up

Forest172,

No, they have to extend the lower anchor points by about 3 - 4 mm but it's a really simple task.

It's worth the hassle though, before I had them fitted if I went down an A typical cheapskate resurfaced road (you know the type the ones where they lay a thin layer of tar followed by mega tons of road chippings, simply allowing traffic to embed the chippings into the road surface) I could hear the stones ping off the side of the car even at slow speed and this is on a road that was resurfaced nearly a year ago! Once the flaps were fitted I could only hear the stones rattle around in the wheelarches.

PS. should have said they extend the holes in the mudflaps not the anchor points of the car... Duh
