If I order an STi8 with PPP - can the cost of the PPP be included in the finance dead or does it have to be paid for separately?

Cheers

Dealer was actually pushing me to do this so I'm sure the answer is yes!

Question

Is anything included in the purchase price on the invoice isn't it - like a better stereo etc ?

yes you can, but bear in mind that the car will not be worth an extra 2k due to having PPP (IMHO), so be prepared for more depreciation on this part of the deal (if you see what I mean).

I'm saving pennies for PPP to be added later, if I decide that I definitely want it. (WRX, not STI)

Thumbs up

Apparently PPP'd cars fetch £1000 more at trade in (so I am told)

i ordered it on the finance and am waiting till the 1K service to fit, i will never have 2k spare to spend on ppp afterwards!

Also tell the dealer you want it at cost due to buying the new car, i paid £1900 but i rekon you could sign the deal at £1800ish inc sti mats! - i was too soft (plus i had p/x)

ppp is a must on the sti , cant believe the difference!

mind bending power!

1 thing - if its only an ecu remap subaru should include it as standard! - just another way to take more cash!

Apprarently it's down to emissions regulations. A PPP'd car would fail the emissions regs for a NEW car, but because it's fitted after the sale it passes the emissions regs for a USED Car..

neil - they could do it free at the 1K service as a present for running it in for them .

they would still charge you £2K though for the exhaust and fuel pump
