a beautiful Impreza overtook me today on the curve at the end of the A61 autobahn at Hockenheim. I saw it in the mirror a long way back, an 03 model year with gold wheels.
AND keeping to the 62mph speed limit (more or less!)
the British "B" reg didn't fool me, that was a new car - I expect it was nearly run in on the way from Calais by then too!
a Subaru moment for you all...

Welcome on board Pat
A61 autobahn at Hockenheim - well it defintely wasn't me
- I was scaring all the wildfowl blasting around the "swamps" north of Amsterdam (Brugerdam - Waterland) in my DBM MY99 (decat, unichip, bumpsteer) - just had the MAF thingy changed and realised it must have been at least slightly fecked for at least the last 6 months - I'd decided that all these TDi's were getting quick - but now I've got my scooby back !
Another Subaru moment (for me at least!)

Hi Ian and thanks for the welcome, it was only when I posted I realised it was my first (but such a Subaru moment was made to be shared now..!)
I'm a technical ignoramus. A MAF thingy sounds to me like it helps you identify wildfowl you have run over (Ministry of Agriculture and Food) before grilling it over the barbecue under the Impreza's air intake. Still, I know nothing and should now go to search this site for enlightenment.
Happy Sunday everyone!
