I have ordered an my 03 import from subaru benelux and want to get a PPP fitted to it after about 1-2K. Can I get this done at a UK dealer? If so where and is it still £1600 like it is for UK cars?

I may be wrong, but I think you have to get the PPP fitted at the dealer you bought the car from to keep your warrenty. I think there have been a couple of post regarding this!

To retain the warranty on your Benelux import the PPP MUST be fitted in Benelux.

Thanks, Nick.

Exactly as above: you need to return the car to the supplying dealer to fit the PPP.

Yes, it is rather strange, but those are the rules of the supplying country who provides the warranty. If you feel like a fight, suggest that this is anti-competetive and, if that does no good, make a formal complaint to the EU. I can probably find the contact details if you want to take it up...

Good luck,
Nick.
