.....and now "Fuel Door" sign!
Picked up my STi8 a few weeks ago and over the weekend noticed the words "Fuel Door >" written above the fule gauge.
"Ah, a warning light if I leave the fuel door open, how clever!" I thought. Popped the fuel door, no light
. Consulted the owners manual and apparently all it is there to do is to indicate that the fuel door is on the right hand side of the car - hence the arrow!!!
Surely this can only be a useful feature on a hire car?
Given the amount of times I have had to fill up so far, I soon learnt on which side the fuel cap was - is this the most useless feature of the new Impreza
??

Yeah, that one beat the stuff out of me. Thought "oh, it'll be a light telling me when the door's open".
Didn't do it on mine, and didn't do it on Rum*s, so I assumed it was just something silly.
Didn't realise there was a reason for the arrow!

Am I the only one who finds the bright switch useful then?
Logically it should have been called the "Not-Dim-when-lights-are-on" switch, but I guess they ran out of space on the dash. It's probably a very simple Japanese character....
