Help! back seat problem.....
#1
***Mods can u leave here for a short while as i need a quick reply***
Please help,
I have finally got my RB5 interior 'half' fitted into my MY99 Sport...the problem...
The old rear seat has a 60/40 split but the new one hasn't (I was aware of this) but the RB doesn't have a solid rear either (ie. If you look into the boot you see the foam! - no support)
I assume i need some sort of rear bulkhead etc. Yes?
If possible could somebody please post pics of the 'non-splitting' rear seat in their car (pref. looking in from the boot) or describe what i need to do now...
Thank you in advance,
Paul

The non split or folding down seat is hooked on in three places under the parcel shelf then screwed at the bottom. At The back is a wooden board with a vinyl cover and a Plastic cover, or atleast thats what I took out of my Sti, lets the sub breath through and saves more weight .

Hi m8,
I've got an RB5 and from what I remember there's a strut brace bar running straight across the rear seat (under the foam bit you've got).
The padding on my RB5 is thick, stiff plastic. There's no wood to support the rear seat. The plastic backing is just attached along the top of the seat (in front of the rear shelf).
If you want I post some pics, but it might be tomorrow as it's a training night for me.
Oh, and that pic looks identical to the back of my RB5 seat.
