Thought you Scoob fans might be interested in this:
A friend of mine is helping a friend from New Zeland to try and import a single seater track car that he's designed. Its similar to a Formula Ford, but is powered by the Scooby engine. It currently has the standard lump, but is getting a Turbo lump v.soon. It also currently runs on 18" P1 alloys, and is painted WR Blue. Needless to say this looks like being a belter of a track car, fully rose jointed adjustable suspension and the like.
So we're talking 450kg, 210bhp. Nice.
Oh yeah, and he reckons it'll be able to go on sale for 14k.
Stick that Radical...
I'll keep the site imformed on the progress, and also when it'll be going to track days soon.

I'm going to be seeing it on the 16th May, so piccies will be posted then. I know its a way off, but it a long process getting a car ready for production. As for the 270bhp, definately. But there's a possibility that the show car will be getting a full works 320bhp rally engine.
My friend has a neighbour that is in a rather high position at a rather well know Scooby Tuning company based in the just off the M40, hence the P1 alloys and imminent engine....
In case you're wondering why i'm being so reticent about names etc, its because i'm not too sure how official all of this is yet, so i hope you understand.
