Got me and the (heavily pregnant) wife home tonight.

Check Engine Light came on * - still pulled like a freight train and sounded fine, but to be on the safe side, car was driven off-boost, and with the prospect of a 50 mile trip back to the middle of nowhere, Subaru Assistance came to the rescue!!!!

* The car was not being hammered (max. revs had been 5K) Just driving along. Stopped at some traffic lights, and "hey presto!" On it came.

Still, all under warrantee

Dan

BTW Car is a MY99 DBM 4dr Turbo

Dan,
Sounds like the exhaust 02 sensor near the back Cat

Shame you didn't buy one of those SEC's monitor units Squizz's mate sells would have told you and could have reset it yourself

Only used Subaru Assistance once and found them to be EXCELLENT

Tony

Ps see you Wednesday mini meet.

O2 sensor?

Survey sez "Eh Eh!" wrong!

Initial reports from Listers indicate a faulty knock sensor by the looks of it. Need to have it checked though.....

However, as I've already had #2 piston replaced, will leave the car with them until Wednesday - Subaru Assistance have sorted me out a courtesy car (new Astra SXi oh well, better than walking........just )

Watch this space,

Dan
