Unhappy

reversing out of the drive, she turned too soon and scraped the wall. loads of deep scrapes on the corner of the front bumper, drivers side. there is one major scratch, which is deep into the plastic of the bumper. can this be repaired? if so, any idea on price or a bodyshop near Hayes, middlesex. or do i just give it up and go for an insurance job. or by chance, does anyone have a blue/black front wrx my01 bumper spare!!! cheers in advance.

Any good body shop should be able to fill the scratches in the bumper. Then its a case of a good spray job.

Glad you won the battle.
Imagine driving a Z3. Oh the shame

Insurance costs being as they are it's probably much more economical in the long run to get it repaired yourself.

All the best.

Its no problem to fill the scratches in the plastic bumper. Any competent body shop should be able to repair the damage and as was said it is probably better to pay for the repair yourself. Likely to save you money in the long run.

A friend of mine bought into some sort of franchise a couple of years ago, which specialises in small bodywork repairs. He quoted me £90.00 (cash) to sort out my rear bumper. I haven't had it done yet so I cant comment on the quality, but others have said he does a spot-on job.

He's based near Watford and his number is 07887856460. The good point about this outfit is that they come to you.

Shaun.
