A mate of mine who owns a P1 had his entire front bumper assembly stolen in broad daylight today and they scratched both front wings in the process. Needless to say he's pissed off!!
They left behind a knife which is now in the hands of the police for finger prints, also the car park is covered with cctv so hopefully these tw@ts will be caught one way or another.
Just a reminder to think about where you leave your motors, and if anyone is offered very cheap P1 front bumper parts (bumper, splitter, spots and clear lenses)from someone dodgy around the north west area let me know.

I herby suggest we all mod our cars with a jurry rig battery and stuff and link it to the bodywork, so when some theiving little **** touches to car they get serious shock and frazzled hair!!!! Then they would think twice about it!!!!

Does he work in the bar fitting / furniture making industry by any chance ?
Edited to add - If he does I have a good idea on where to look.
Mine was eyed up (think they were after the rear spoiler) the other week in the same area.

i had replica sti5 front and rear bumpers stolen off of my 93 wrx a few years back in a Tescos car park and in broad daylight.
No witness of course and no cctv was working. Tescos coundnt give a **** either, needless to say they have lost 3 years worth of my money and will continue to do so.

One of my mates works at the same place and he's always going on about the Scoob that gets loved to bits
Tell your mate to have a cruise around the factory bottom area of Accy and look out for 2 older scoobs with lots of modern touches (if you know what I mean).
They stand out a mile !
One of them visits a valeting bay oposite my mates tyre depo (Dale st). I get him to keep his eyes peeled for a "new" bumpered old scoob.
