Just collected MY03 WRX Wagon!!

Had a test drive last week and loved the car.
So I managed to convice the wife (took some doing!)that we need one, and went back to the showroom to place an order.
I expected to have a long 3/4 month wait but the dealer had a blue or a silver in stock brand new! Three days later I am happy as that bloke Larry, with my Silver scooby...
The dealer was excellent and looked after me very well. Answered all my questions and worked hard to meet my monthly budget. Now all I have to do is try not to go over 4000 revs for 1000 miles, thats going to prove tough!
I just love this car, and can't stop smiling!

Loving mine too
All you need to do now is convince the wife that having the PPP fitted at the 1000 mile service is going to really improve the fuel economy
I'm on 1400 miles so far in my 03 wagon (with PPP) and think it's worth every penny. Luckily her in doors likes it too!! In fact I can't think of a better combination of all weather performance and practicality in any car for the money.

That fuel economy improvement with PPP is not a joke. I can support the statement because I am now getting over 30 mpg, up from 28 mpg previously when touring and driving at more or less constant speeds. When you press on though the economy returns to Scooby norm i.e around 24-26, but the average MPG has improved. Mine is an MY02 by the way, so you should get even better MPG with an MY03 when ambling around.

PPP sounds great but how noisey is the exhaust compared to standard?
What exactly do you get for your bucks..
Was hoping to get some cool photos today but the bloody weathers rubbish! Maybe tomorrow... if I can sleep!

Bought mine with the PPP, exhaust is a little quieter than my previous scoob which was a MY00 with WR tailbox.
Have now run the car in, and it does go rather well, also get around 300 miles on a ank of Optimax.
Now waiting for the driving lamp conversion, maybe an induction kit when K&N get round to it, and yes i know about the MAFF problem, however never a problem on my previous model.
Great car, very underestimated.
