What new Impreza can your get for 21k
#1
As the title states, what latest model Impreza can you get for 21k and what level of power would it have.
Extreme have a limited stock of brand new Evo VII RSII's (280bhp) for 21k at the moment and I'm just trying to gauge what equivalent model this money would get you in scoobyland.
Span (Ex MY97, Currently Evo5)

You can get a new STI imported for a tad over £21K (£22K) from Iain Litchfield (picked up my WRX on Friday from him), or a new WRX imported by him for £16,385. You could then add the PPP for another £1600 (roughly). Plus Trackstar (£600) and still soem money left over for some fluffy dice!

I had a good look at an Evo 7 in silver yesterday at my local dealer and it must be said it does look soooo much better up close. I liked it all apart from the front grille setup. Are the service inetervals still that pathetic 4,500 miles or have the improved with the newer models?

The 4500 mile service interval only came about due to a faulty AYC ECU on some Evo 4/5 models (fixed through a CCC recall). Mitsi dropped the servicing interval during the recall to be on the safe side and also make some money in the process!!
There was talk that the AYC interval on later models was going to be increased to 9k or even 18k miles. Depends how hard you drive the car. The AYC oil change can be done seperately for about £40-£60.

Yes, probably is still 4.5k.
If you drive a performance car and use its power surely you want to look after it well and dont mind spending a bit extra getting some fresh oil in there
How often do you change the oil on your P1?
