My local Ford dealer is advertising 4 wheel tracking for £30. Is this a good price ?

Not meaning to be cynical here, but I bet they can't do camber settings!

If they can, then it's a bargain!

erm, tracking is £12.99 at my local fast fit outfit, 3D geometry is £50, if its £30 just for tracking its dear, if its the full geometry its good value.

I had mine done for £50 yesterday.

Full 4 wheel geometery check and adjustement, cheap yes but not really accurate.

The tollerances that they have worked to are quite large, they have also allowed a positive and a negative camber on the front, which is wrong but within tollerance.

Don't get me wrong the car is much better than it was before, but i believe it could be better.

Maybe the geometery setups costing +150 are more accurate?

I gave them a call, ses he'll check it for free, and if it needs adjustment it is definately £30. I'll let you know how it feels afterwards.

BTW, it's Gordons Ford in Bolton.

Is there a difference between "tracking" and "alignment" ?
