Hmm .. so she didn't talk to you when you didn't have the Scoob. Tells you something about that girl
No, I knew her to speak to before, but this was a tad out of the blue
Turns out she is a bit of a petrolhead and wants a scoob or an evo herself
BTW matt5cott - didn't know you posted over here too. Have you realised who I am from Big Forums?

Have to say when I owned an Impreza all the women I knew hated it!
On the other hand when I put down a deposit for an SLK (personal circumstances changed so cancelled the order) I had women at my mums company who I had never even met before wanting me to take them out in it.
I think unless it is a convertible or a BMW/Mercedes women on the whole are not interested.

STi you know some shallow birds with bad taste, Z3’s, yuuukkk .
Only yesterday I was complimented on my fine automobile by a couple of rather nice ladies, not 17, but early 20’s. Seeing them again at the weekend, mmmm which one to take home to Mum? LOL.

Girls dont understand the gold wheels, but they seem to like the attention and being looked at when in the car. The car has helped me meet females on several ocassions. Its obvious they pay attention cos they think you have money - then you tell them its all tied up with the insurance company.
Its when they start asking to have a drive in it i get worried. I tell them thye can drive it when they buy it :-)

The admin girls at my work know how to keep us scooby owners in check.
They keep emailing me saying there are kids swinging on my spoiler or that i could use my spoiler as a washing line.
Boy racer some times gets thrown in there also.
They love it really and they know it - lol

"It's a bit noisey!"
"It's very bouncy!"
"These seats don't allow much movement"
"Have you enough petrol to get home?"
Just some of the comments recently.
Couldn't help but laugh this afternoon when I pulled up to an office and 4 yummy ladies were stood at the window and said "lovely car we heard you coming!" Very nearly regretted wearing track suit trousers on my day off!
Usually get more comments about my reg though (55 BJ),I just give a wee wink and a smile and say "it honestly stands for my first 2 initials!"

Thought it was time for a chick's opinion!
I don't hate Scoobys - absolutley love 'em. Had my MY 02 WRX for just under a year now and fall more in love with it every day. IMHO most Scoobys are driven by car enthusiasts and therefore if the girls you're chasing don't appreciate 'em, don't bother - it'd never work anyway if they're that not into cars!
I get second looks all the time in mine from chaps on the road ... they go through this "hey, it's a Scooby" "blimey, it's a BIRD driving it" "blimey, a BLONDE bird at that" thought process ... it's great to watch the realisation dawn! And I have to say a I'd find a male Scooby owner more attractive not because the car suggests money but because it's a 4wd aggressive super quick car that isn't bought by poseurs but by true car enthusiasts who enjoy driving and are well into their cars.
Anyway, I'm waffling - as women do - but to the chap who started this thread ... good on ya! You're definetley in there .... she may be shallow - then again she may be a girl who's into her cars - a truly lucky find!
