When the screen on my EVO was damaged I rang them to try and get one fitted. I said what model it was for, gave them the measurements. I said have you got it listed, "Yes it's under lancer, they are all the same size." I asked them to please double check as it's very important the windscreen is replaced and is correct as I'm selling the car the next day." She said she would send the details / measurements on to the depot but it's the correct one.
Anyway so in the morning the guy rolls up with completely the wrong size with the wrong mounting for the mirror. He said I'd have to go to mitsubishi to get it. What a bunch of numpties.

In contrast, AutoGlass replaced my MY01 screen within two days with a lovely sheet of Pilkington's finest. Putting the original next to the replacement showed how thin and flimsy the original was.
This was after CarGlass (the French arm of AutoGlass) had said they wouldn't be able to get a screen to Toulouse within two weeks, and that I'd be better getting it fixed when I got home.

They once replaced the screen for me in a 205GTi 1.9, and scraped a sticker off it with a one sided razor blade.
On the way home I drove into the setting sun, and noticed that where they'd scraped seeemd to be scratched, so I went back.
At first they denied having done it, then denied it could have been caused by the blade, until I made them bring the blade to me, where I proceeded to put another scratch on it.
they did replace the screen then!

I chipped my windscreen over the April bank holiday
They came & repaired it on the 23rd May & I wasnt happy with the repair & so ordered a new Genuine winscreen which had to be ordered from Subaru as the ones the normally fit are not genuine Subaru !
I was told it would be fitted during the following week !
I heard nothing so chased on the 6th May (twice) & again on the 7th.
On each occasion I was promised a call back & never got one !
EVENTUALLY on Wednesday this week I was told that the screen would be with them on Friday at 12 pm & they would fit it between 3 & 5pm today !
I get a call at 4.15 today to say that the dealer called them & told them it was broken !!!!
So no chance of getting it dont today as they needed to order a new one ! I was offered a non genuine one to be fitted tomorrow ! BUT couldnt be fitted as they had no one to fit it ! (SO where had the fitter gone that was due to fit my original screen ? didnt they book the job in originally !)
I called Bell & Colvill as they were the screen suppliers only to be told that the screen was only ordered this Tuesday some 2 weeks after I had originally asked for it to be ordered ! Also B & C told autoglass at 1pm today to tell them it was broken but autoglass took over 3 hours to tell me !
Neither the branch or their Head Office seem that bothered ! I have been told I will just have to wait until the new screen comes in !
WILL I GET IT BEFORE JAPFEST GOD ONLY KNOWS !

Autoglass just fitted a new screen in a relations car.
Screen has a 6" vertical scratch dead centre at the top!
The thin black trim/beading around the screen is coming away, not fixed back in
They changed he wiper blades as they where worn out - he had to pay for it.
He tries the wipers - they have put them back in the wrong position,. one now comes to rest 1 inch or so on the plastic trim between the screen and the rear edge of the bonnet.
They might as well have sent a monkey to do it, in fact maybe they did!
What a cr@p service - i suppose one of the issues is that they are reccommended by a lot of insurance companies!
