Ok, so i've had the air con checked, and surprise, surprise there's a big hole in the evaporator where a stone's hit it.
Am currently waiting to hear from the dealer regarding a price agreement, since i can't afford another 500 quid on top of buying the car less than a month ago.
Anyway, assuming that i do get it repaired, there's bog all protection to stop it happening again 3 weeks later. So it seems like a very expensive gamble to me.
Are there any products available which offers some sort of protection for the system? I'm thinking along the lines of a thin mesh grill or something?

It's a MY00 uk turbo.

Any advice appreciated.
