Came back to my car after an evening out with the missus to find the window smashed and £500 worth of Hi Fi missing.To make matters worse they nicked my briefcase out the boot which had in it some lectures I had spent three weekends preparing.I know I'm not the first or last to be the victim of crime but I just had to post this.
I work in a hospital and cars are broken into on a daily basis. These cars usually belong to Docs/nurses etc ie exactly the people who treat these buggers when they've been in a punch up on Friday night. Worse still they sometimes belong to some poor guy visiting his sick/dying relative. When will these parasites start getting punishments that truly relect the real impact of their crime? Its not just about the money.

 

Deep, that is BAD news, I hope they get so feked up one day that no one in your place of work can help them. Dam c@>@s!!!

My particular episode was'nt in the hospital car park.But no CCTV and one security guard to patrol over 8 acres!

I totally agree with the DNA lark, I would vote for it tomorrow.
It should be compulsory, we would have a miles better justice system instead of long drawn out bullshi* trials. Swab of DNA, match, bingo, case closed.

I was a victim at the weekend. Sat in my mates house at about 11.30pm on Saturday night and we heard a massive bang. He's got two Ikitas and they went nuts so we ran outside to find a great big dent in my bonnet and a cracked headlight. Some little git had thrown half a house brick at my car which I found lying on the road next to my car.

We went off on a 45 minute search for them but nor we or the dogs could find them. It just seems plain stupid; if someone nicked my car and drove to London in it then left it parked up at the side of the road, I could understand that. If someone nicked by stereo they at least had a purpose. But to just lob a brick at my bonnet? Silly pillocks. I'd have loved to of found him/them. I'd have happily reunited his face with the brick.

 

Really sorry to hear about that Deep, and the other guys who have had cars vandalised.

I often wonder what has happened in this country to make people do that kind of thing to other's property. If they burgle your house they dont just steal your property but vandalise the place as well in the most evil manner. You can accuse me of living in the past if you like, but at least you did not have to go around in fear of your life from burglars and muggers. And you could rely on a full investigation by and protection by the police with a fast reaction time.
