Just had four new toyo proxes fitted to the car and they certainly seem much better than the s02's that came on my sti 5.

Got them from a place in beare green (near dorking) called piper performance tyres (also happen to be a main toyo distributor for surrey + sussex) paid £405 all in. Tyres themselves where approx £76 + vat for those that need mail order.

as many of you out there know, I have been into Mini's ever since passing my test. The tyre to have on Mini's are the Yokohama 008's.
Has anyone ever tried a soft compound tyre made by Yokohama ? - they make my Mini almost impossible to loose the back end - apart from in wet conditions and cow muck !
Any feedback would be very helpful - There seems to be a fair amount of people using these Toyo's - whoooooooooo ?
never heard of them - are they a subsidury of Falken ? ? lol

Exclamation

Fantastic tyres, I am on my second set. I have tried at least 6 other make/models on scoobies, and nothing came close to the toyos.

I get mine from Motorsport Wheels who have branches around the country. Price was £340 all inclusive (vat + fitting), same for both sets despite the intervening period of time!

Moray

Tyres Northampton, who will be in attendance at Donno, will also supply and fit a set of 16" Proxes T1-S's for £340 inclusive.
For 17" the price is £400.
Ring them on 01604 588599 if you're interested.

Stef.

Thumbs up

I had four new T1-s toyos 215/40/17 fitted today by Tyres of Northampton. I would like to recommend them to anyone in the area, £400 inc vat and fitting. The service is excellent.
