Hi Paul,
it's a chance to drive some real tasty motors round the millbrook test track, it was brilliant last time, got taken round the high speed bowl in the TVR Tamora before it was released.
Cheers
Colin

BTW Exhaust still sounds brill

Does anyone have a list of cars available to drive.

I seen the price list: £37 for 3 drives,£57 for 6 IIRC.

Question

Are there any decent manufacturers there this year?

Went to the one they did back in 2001 and the only things worth driving were the Honda S2000 and CTR. And they had someone go out with you to make sure you didnt go too fast!! Mind you it was good to experience the Milbrook circuit though.

Got a passenger ride in a Griff 500 also but the driver was a bit pants. Dont think we went over 50mph

I can't quite understand the Motordrive concept of having to pay for a car demo??
If you are that interested in buying a car then get a local dealer to set up a demo at your convenience.

All seems a bit cheeky for a large group of manufacturers to set up a few distractions for the family, whilst charging a person who is interested in buying their product, to potter around a circuit where there will be tight marshalling to stop any enthusiastic testing.

However, if you are already booked on this then all I can hope for is that dealers will be doing some extra special deals for buyers.

It's worth paying for, even though it is a glorified test drive. I went 2001 (was going on sat, but something came up & I've given my ticket to a mate ).

The test track is quite an interesting drive, plenty of variation in just a few miles.

Also the speed bowl is worth the experience; the hands off the wheel speeds are quite a smart experience.
