Just want to see how long these cars last for, if well looked after of course. State your model and year and if you've had any major mechanical problems.

Cheers

Question

Hmm..

Not sure of the point of this really as you are bound to get a
Legacy over 200k, but things cost a fortune when the wear and tear bits start to age. My Subaru ownership record:-

00MY Legacy - No problems
99MY Impreza - 65k FSSH - New short engine needed at 55k, £2500
97MY Impreza - 50k. No problems
93MY Legacy T- 80k. No problems but hydraulic tappets soon needed
91MY Legacy -120k. Wheel bearings, exhaust manifold, clunky auto

When my chum was looking for an STI - V5 he came across a two door with...............wait for it.................161k miles!!!!

Imagine what the fuel reciepts would have amounted too!!!

The car would have only been 2,1/2 - 3 years old at the time!!

My mate has clocked up 190k in his MY98, he has owned it from new and has only had to replace the clutch. It has been well serviced though.

121K - had it for 4.5 years - only service parts & worn out bits - clutch, discs & pads. Oh, and a rocker cover gasket. Still going strong...

My 96 UK Turbo wagon has 85k and still runs like a dream. Full stamped S/H and 2 previous owners who, like me, worshipped the car has obviously paid off.

To sidetrack on another post, I'd still like to know what size the fueltank is.....?

Skoosh.

V Tech, The 2 door i found had 168K, its was a version 4 type R in silver. Fuel costs must have been huge.
