MY95 Import, what BHP?
#1
Guys
Expecting MY95 5 door WRX in the next few weeks. It's in having it's SVA as we speak!
I was wondering what BHP figure I am going to be looking at for this car? I have heard that they are 280BHP but would like to confirm!

The JDM 5 doors had 220PS (not bhp as stated) which is around 217bhp (on 100 ron fuel).
It probably would have been better for you to get a UK car (if you can do without a/c and wing mirrors that fold in, but havnt seen any 5 doors at this age?).
The 4 doors in 95 had 260ps due to a larger turbo (TD05) compared to the TD04 on the 5 door wrx.

LOL Dan
Wish it was 240bhp but i think they thought that as its a wagon its more family orientated and thus less power
Id say on a good day, 215bhp on uk sul fuel as standard, so not much higher than a uk car really (except the extras )
