I need some touch up paint for some stone chips.

Paint code is 53C, for an import. Has anybody any idea where I can get this, saw some posts regarding Halfords, but they do not have that code listed.

Also tried dealers, but no luck.

Any ideas??

 

Halfords can match paint, most larger stores have a paint mixing ability, its usually advertised in store, phone round a few to find your nearest one

I have tried that, but do not have 53C on their database. They had Subnaru 53 which is a brown not the 53C which is 555 Blue. They would have mixed it for me, but did not want brown

 

Most Subaru dealers will get paint - even for imports. Although it's not cheap. Also look up 'automotive paint' in Yellow Pages, you'll probably find a local place that'll make some up for you.

i got my paint ( code 222 ) from a company who you fax. you get a blank form fill out your car details ( make/model etc) and paint code. They then fax you back a lst of how the paint is made ( ingrediants etc ) which you then take to a body shoppaint supplier who can mix it up. a friend showed me this service a while ago as it is how they get their paint for import cars.

since then he has painted a few parts for me and the match has been spot
