How many miles do you all get out of a full tank on an STI TYPE R.
On MY97 TYPE R with Apexi induction, Backbox, HKS EVC4 running 1.2bar I only get about 170 miles using Optimax and Millers Octane Booster. This seems pretty low, even if I drive it like on old granny it does not really improve!

It really depends on how hard you drive it I can get lower mpg if I try harder
. You say you are getting 170 to a tank, how many litres are you putting in ? The 200-220 miles for me is about 50ish litres, so about 18 to 22mpg. I dont really drive the scoob in much traffic and play more at the weekends and some of the runs I do are 30-50 miles so perhpas get a better mpg on a run. I have had 30mpg once
, just drove really carefully just to see how much I could get.
If your 170 is off for example 45 litres then your arent much different from mine.

Hmmm,
I have a 99 Type RA and get about 170-180 miles out of 40 litres Super with full bottle of Millers OB, so I suppose yours is about right.
Mind you, its primarily just a 'weekend' car, so theres never much granny driving going on really!
