Genuinely curious (BuRR et al), why could they pull you over for a bit of engine revving, especially as you didn't pull away quickly? I could understand "incitement to speed" or some such if they thought you were going to and stopped you beforehand, but as they saw you didn't speed after all, it seems odd.
Still, well done to them for good public relations, even if I'm not sure of the answer to the above.

As scooby ownership is now dropping in price, how much longer will it be before morons like the one you met in the corsa can afford to run a scooby, and therefore start acting like prats in "our" car?
Soon, the police will be as hard on you as they were on the corsa driver.
I must say though, I've only had my car since easter, and not been stopped once yet.
Lots of looks, but no stops,
chris

ya know maybe cause im young and cant afford a scooby or maybe its cause you's lot do own scooby's but i really cant tell the difference between a Scooby Driver and a Corsa Driver.

the difference is generally maturity. A scooby owner is generally more responcible, he doesnt hang out his window trying to impress little girls, or drive around all night...
but this is just a steraotype onto most corsa owners, not all...
As for the reason to pull you, disturbing the peace is valid!!!

Seriously tho, been pulled once, foglights during the today <tit, left em on from night before>, pulled me and a following mate, and then prodeeded to discuss the finer points of his *modded* pug306 for gawdsakes"!" so the one with the working mouth () said both of the coppers had one, I ask you...

well to be honest this maturity of Scooby Drivers and Corsa Drivers is a load of ***** really.
i hear loads of stories on this about scooby drivers racing other cars and gloating about how fast there car is - exactly the same as one of these Corsa Drivers.
All these Rear Wings replica's u get do u really think they where designed with downforce in mind I THINK NOT they are just Tacky pieces of plastic which you's by to make ur cars LOOK tarty the same as ur side skirts. - exactly the same as ur average boy racer Corsa Driver. and as for putting air vents on cars that dont need me, i think i am right in same the classic scoobys have 2 air vents on bonnet that serve no purpose ourelse they wouldnt be blanked off.
to be honest Your exactly the same as the Corsa drivers only difference is ur cars have turbos and bigger engines. like u they buy mods to try and increase there horsepower likes u's except it isnt on such a large scale as u's do

Going back to the revving thing, I seem to remember from my learning days that revving your engine at a pedestrian crossing is either illegal, or at least a Highway Code breach, as it is considered to intimidate crossing pedestrians, thus potentially causing an accident if they panic and run

yes but the vents on a scoob are there standerd you dont see a scoob driver sticking vents off another car like you do nova /corsa ect sticking a scoob bonnet scoop on and we do have the option to take the blanks off the other two vents so yes i would say we do differ

ta nite mate
by the way yes i have seen scooby drivers putting on other vents that serve **** all purpose i believe it was a P1 shown on this board. and as for baseball caps yes i have seen scooby drivers with baseballs caps on AND on many occasions when pics are shown on this board of members they nearly always seem to be wearing the tracky bottoms and gear so i believe u should look at urselves as a whole before going and and making judgement. although i believe that there are too many Maxxed arseholes around there are plent of Maxxed Scooby arseholes around and there is becoming a big amount of them lately

as for ferrari's i would say they are BETTER if not one of the best cars, thats why they demand as much money as they do for one and to be honest they are owned by elite people with wads of cash
