out in the new car today, just cruising, when I spied a 2 yr old 911 Turbo - thought i'd give it a go.
Along a very fast dual carriageway that may be near Nuneaton, I found that although my car is quick, it doesn't hold a candle to that - pissed all over me it did. Oh well, fun trying anyway.
Saying that, a fast bend at 120 saw me reel him in a little, though he may have thought he'd done the business, or given me some false hope - he was already 10 car lengths ahead!

I actually got a thumbs up from a 928 S4 driver last week, after sticking to his bumper round a sweeping bend from M42 onto M5 up to 120ish, whilst I was in the Cupra Turbo - he was 4's up though.
Always worth the crack, and good when it's appreciated.

Oh look! Two threads in a row and who do I find? You really must have a pretty sad life if the best thing you can do is spend your time making sweeping generalisations on other peoples threads.
It's people like you that ruin communities like this. Get a life.

No mate, I don't. I go and do trackdays like the one I did at Hullavington on Friday with Neil Cunningham (the GT racing driver), that I am just in the middle of posting up pics of in members gallery.
But hey, how were you to know who I am or what I do? Oh. Oh I see! THATS the point!
Here ends lesson 1.

IDIOTS like the YOU wind me up because u BELIEVE we cant race about.
but i suppose cause your car is superior then its SAFE to do 120mph. I use judgement to decide, rational thought, although I am willing to concede you lack this and therefore the concept is alien to you.
YOUR the reason why my insurance is GOES up. Bollox, your insurence goes up annually, same as everyone elses. dont like it? buy a skoda or a rusty fiesta.
and YOUR also the reason why more speed camera's go up cause they know idiots are out there to be caught. Wrong again, the revenue genrated is a very attractive income for the police and simple economies of scale dictate that more cameras = more revenue.
end of story funny how i found in the space of a few hours 2 MAX POWER threads in here both slating the max power culture.
You sir are an **** with a pointless arguement, feebly trying to get a rise from the community, maybe I did bite, maybe Im calm, maybe nobody else will really care. Look out for a chap called MYCROFT, you two will get on really well...

LOL ok who said anything about doing 120mph on a public road?
Or it being alright?
What type of road was this?
What time of day?
What were the road conditions?
What were the weather conditions?
The answer to that question is different for every different variable you put in there. But you don't seem to understand that.

Did I say it was a public road? It was a private road, owned by my gran, codename M42
120 with no traffic is safer than 30 outside a school.
And by the way, I am not a boy racer - I like fast cars, drive fast when appropriate, am qualified as an advanced driver and unfortunately am not young anymore

Scoty, I think we have just got to the sickly love scene where everyone kisses and makes up
I want my money back...it clearly says on my ticket that this is an action movie, not a romance
