and how does the engine differ from that of a Sti ra .
the sti version has 15 bhp extra is this becasue of the different ecu settings and larger intercooler.

they both has uprated engine internals as they both rev to 7500

does any one know

ra doesn't have uprated internals except solid cam followers.

Lighter than sti, no elec windows or central locking, lightweight windscreen, maybe some panels too.

Also has 5th injector, which isn't used normally, but there for rally upgrades to the ECU I guess.

The STI RA should rev to 8000 rpm while the WRX RA should rev to 7500 rpm. They both will have the red line at 7500 as they have the same rev. counter.

Not sure to the times but my STI RA is very close to my M5 to about 100mph.

The M5 does 0-60 in 5 sec's and 0-100 in 11 secs!

Dom.

Also I hit 8000rpm in 5th gear which was reading 150mph on my speedo!
