And you are dead right Jon, electric aerials are way cool! B-) plus I hate the manual one that sticks out of the A pillar.
Cheers guys.

omg what are you doing ? you can get a much better rear screen job no drilling, no sticking on the way down after a few months , don't do it , look at the better solutions out there.

Not at all Talizman, speaking for myself I can see absolutely no reason on earth why anybody would want to put something as ugly and old fashioned on to their car.
Next it'll be 4 chrome self tappers holding the number plate on.

Hi,
I'm looking for a favour from anyone who owns a JDM WRX or STI saloon with the electric quarter panel mounted aerial.
I've bought one to fit to my car, but I'm unsure of the exact location before I start drilling my baby!
I'd be sooooo grateful if you could do a couple of measurements for me? <cheeky>
I need to know a number of measurements....
Firstly, how far the aerial is mounted horizontally in from the rear door. {diagram (a)}.
I also need to know distance from feature line on top of quarter panel to aerial {diagram (b)}
And lastly, the distance from feature line on side of quarter panel to aerial {diagram(c)}.

Thank you in advance for your kind help!
