Jap Spec Scooby - What to buy?
#1
Well pleased with my UK Turbo but I must admit I am tempted by a few more horses.
I am a little confused by all the Jap models available..wrx,sti,type r etc
So what is best?
Where is the best place to buy one in the UK?
What are the pitfalls?
Thanks for any help.

Depends what your after Ed. If you want a hell for leather scream thru the gears bonkers mobile go for the wicked type r, if you want similar but softer sprung and not quite as short geared try the cool STI and if you are after something that has more grunt than the UK scoob try the funky wrx. To make my mind up Id spend an enjoyable day test driving them all....twice There isnt a best IMHO. Pitfalls would be no 3 year warranty from Subaru, but you can get an aftermarket one, youll probably have to have a decent alarm fitted and run it on SUL. ( although I have heard a rumour that the STI6 runs on NUL but dont quote me)

Best Japanese Impreza?
"WRX STI Version 3 Type RA V-Limited Pure Sports Sedan"...
Next best... "Version 4 type RA V-Limited" etc...
But that's just my opinion, so it's best to just ignore me, I'll go probably away...
