I paid £7k last year for an identical car to yours but almost standard. Infact you've seen it, we went down to Tuning Japanese together for the rolling road day. I agree sorta what people are saying for the £6k mark, but I think you will definately get more. Depends how long you wait til you sell. Go to www.autotrader.co.uk and search for imprezas, theres loads on there. For about £6k you are mostly getting standardish older imports or newer uk's with high mileage.

ii have done a fair bit to my car and so now i am wondering what its worth. not having great experience in subarus, and it being my car, i dint want to guess incase im way of the mark...
so, here we go..
MY93 in silver
High level spoiler, quite unique and very nice
18" league 099's - brand new tyres aswell
Full stainless magnex (6x4)
scoobysport open neck d/pipe
basically an STi V3 engine, but to sell i would give all the 'forge pistons, strengthened rods, ball bearing turbo, cams, heads e.t.c'
usual filters, plugs e.t.c
Intercooler water mist
Scooby ECU running about 1.5-2 bar map
turbo timer
Sony tape/CD changer
In car TV mounted in center console
Usual WRX interior
type RA gearbox - not sure why but redline at 135 in 5th, we tested it against an RA and it was the same.
the car is mint, extremly clean. i have just had a touch up respray on the outside to remove all dents/stone chips. there has been alot of work under the hood and if all goes well it will be seeing the sunny side of 350BHP.
also, what would it add to the value when i facelift it (lights, bonnet and grill)??

with all them mods.. i would think you would easily get around £6500-£7000
at 4.5k you probably get a standard one and to meet the spec of this one you would spend £2000 i mean a decent set of 18" Alloys with new tyres your talking £800 - USED.... not to mention all the mods under the bonnet and tv etc etc...
just my opinion of course....
Raf.
would love to see pics of it though

5K!!!
a standard one yes, but when you include the engine spec in the car, the fact that its not a 'standard' car and the fact that it has had mods done, but not the sort of mods that give you very little selling field (like lairy paint e.t.c).
o was hoping for 7K upwards as this car is looking at 350BHP plus and is very clean...

From: up a bit, left a bit, down a bit, to the right no left ahhh just there
Mods or not the cars only worth 5-6k
You may be able to sell it for the price you want to a buyer looking for the mods you've carried out, but this will narrow your buyer market down to a handfull of people who are willing to pay for a modified car. Now selling the parts individualy is probably the way to go, even tho you will NEVER get your money back.
It's a buyers market unfortunatly and scoobs aren't exactly thin on the ground are they!

You need to focus your advertising on the right market.
If you're selling to people interested in modifying then your probably looking at around 6k.
Other people have it spot on in this thread though. I think you'll be lucky to get much more than 5.5k
I got my MY96 Sti v2 with zero sports ecu, blitz boost guage, hks turbo timer and the most sweet exhaust I could have hopped for at not much more money. Depends entirely on where you sell and who you sell to.
Good luck though if you decide to sell.

I have a 02 wrx thats also far from standard. It had over 4k in mods when I bought it and yet it cost less than many standard ones are selling for.
Generally speaking, mods do not increase the value of your car. In fact modifiying a car only reduces the amount of potential buyers.
It may be worth more than 5k to someone who doesn't mind taking the risk, but finding that someone may take a while.
