I vote for a "lets watch the paint dry" forum.
This is scoobynet for everything Scooby....
There are plenty of other BBS's for all other topics be it MTB, Washing Up etc, etc.
Where do we stop........ There are more than enough forums already.......
PS No I am not a happy bunny today
Edited to say Not been well and very tired.....

Add me as another one to the head count for MTBers on SN.
Not sure about an MTB specific forum on SN though? I can see the "more forums than posts" point of view.
I think the problem with the current all non motorsport "Sport" category is : -
football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football football and so on...
Make sure you all check out http://www.singletrackworld.com before shouting too loud for a SN MTB forum.
Cheers
Matt

Why have an mtb forum on scoobynet? I would go to a specific site for that info, not a car site!
If you are too lazy to click to another site, jeez, get off the net.
It is nice to see some bikers also have scoobys, but really, will we have a films and music forum soon, a tap dancing forum? whatever.....
( I'm not into tap dancing by the way, it was just an example!)
chris.

Jeeze, where do you draw the line? Next I'll be requesting a 'martial arts' forum, red dog and turbokitty will request a 'knitting' forum , carpet cleaner and mycroft will request an 'abuse' forum and Ricey, Scoty and Dougster will be requesting a 'weegie' forum.....where does it end

So how would an MTB forum on SN actually detract from your enjoyment of SN if you're not personally interested in MTBing???
Simple answer - it wouldn't, so why are you whinging?
There's a whole stack of forums on here that don't interest me so I don't use them. I don't grizzle about the fact that they exist and that others find them useful.
Using your logic we should ban Computers, DIY, Sport, etc. because they are not related to Subarus?
Funny that they refer to online forums as communities. I think community spirit got his coat and left SN along time ago. People now just seem to want to bitch, slag, put-down and antagonise others for the sake of it.
The guy was asking for replies from anyone interested, he did not ask for every kn*b and his mate to post pointless negative cr*p and hijack his thread.

Why don't you use the Sports forum like everybody else? Think you're special or something? I tell you what, if I saw one of you nonces in lycra mincing about in my neighbourhoud I'd say 'oi mountainbiker, no!'

Well I doesn't look like a Moderator or Simon are going to tell you why you wont get a MTB forum so I will. There's not enough interest to justify it's own forum yet. If you start to fill up the sports forum with "Mountain chat" then there could be a forum created.
I've only ever seen 3 MTB threads (I'm sure there have been more ) and this is one of them !
Until then you'll just have to search for Your mountain biking stuff
