I did the same type of thing -
got a Scoobysport c/section off here £50
got a Scoobysport b/box, again, off here £150
ITG panel filter
Looked then at a downpipe for about £200...
hmmm, by my reckoning, you're looking at about £450!!!!![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Bargain!![Cool](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/cool.gif)
Next step after that, would be looking at different ECUs and then engine remaps etc...![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Your best bet is to look in the For Sale section, get a backbox (loadsa choice - Prodrive, WRSport, Magnex, Mongoose, Blitz etc), match up a centre section, then match up the Downpipe. Also look at a panel filter (as opposed to induction - just IMHO!!!!
)
Hope this helps![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

A good downpipe with no cat and decent design for the wastegate, and a centre section with a free flow cat(sports type) and a good back box will do a lot for your performance and is not too difficult to install. 3 inch diameter right through. Gets through the MOT emissions test too. Boost gauge,Knocklink, AFR indicator, and Dawes could be added later.

Dawes, turn up to full and cross your fingers! ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
But seriously a dawes for £40 and a boost gauge would get you a semi-decent increase and if you get a knocklink as well you can run it right on the edge

Decat is a safer option than Dawes
How about remove Centre Cat - Approx £80
Fit TSL Firestorm Back Box - £300
Still legal
Total £380
You'll notice a difference with that. This tends to be a standard first time mod. I though £1200 was quite good

The risk is yours
What I have suggested will free the system up but won't need a remap on the ecu
