Well done Simon and the team. The bloke was a w*****r. Hopefully people like him will now realise that posts which detract from the scoobynet community wont be tolerated.
Nice one again.

Someone called mycroft posted this on the TIF forums

all the forums live in fear of the Keyboard Terrorist Alliance... can imagine the dozen or so Mycroft clones going at their forum full tilt... Mayhem... I hasn't happened here yet... my fellow terrorists are champing at the bit to take out a forum this way....

it seems to be the only realistic move for a problem like that at the end of the day.
I too will miss the banter a bit. Never got offended but a bit bored sometimes when he started talking to himself.
things were only going to get worse though.
Its easy to get a bite - you just insult people and their intelligence. whats big about that? how is that 'winning'?
(Damn I've just bitten )
(don't answer! - don't want another 10 pager )

Bite, bite, bite, bite, bite - he was always winning, you just haven't realised it - even now

Hi All
Just to let you know, dispite clear and unambiguous terms under which mycroft was offered the chance to continue to post on scoobynet, he has coninued to the contrary.
It would not be fair to go in to the details, but it is completely clear from his actions that he does not wish to "be a part" of this community, merely inflict his "personality" on it.
Mycroft
Of course you will be able to set up another account and continue to use scoobynet, but this will be considered an abuse of thi service and we will use the wealth of data and information we have about you in order to take further action should you decide to attempt to use scoobynet without permission again.

thank god he's gone
there was no need to nambi pambi around him and give him chances.Joining scoobynet you agree to the terms and conditions of the community. So if he wants to go against the grain of most scoobynetters then just ban him and be done with him. I applaud your decision.Anyway i bet you within a month there will more of his like so better to set a precedent than try and please the masses..

AFAIK he was chatting some carp about racing people and generally being insulting and a nuisance.
His main problem was his circular argumentative ways - if only he wouldnt rip the sheat out of everyone (even those with relevant opinions) then he probably would have been tolerated.
'nuff said IMHO.

Fantastic decison. The guy couldn't help himself, feeling the constant need to start meaningless unproven groundless arguments simply to entice others to come and be insulted by his BS non-existent 'superior knowledge'. Good riddance.

About time. Trouble is he already uses pseudonyms - there were suapicious posts in "his" threads that were simply too sycophantic to be anyone else but him replying to himself.
A rather lonely, disturbed individual is behind the Mycroft phenomenon one suspects.
